JLT Series 2 Intake system for the 2005-09 V6 available in black textured plastic, painted body color or HydroCarbon finish.
Though our original JLT Intake was a huge success and on more cars than we ever imagined, we have pushed the envelope and did a complete redesign in March 2012 from top to bottom and now have the JLT Series 2 CAI for the 2005-09 Mustang V6.
JLT Series 2 Intake DESIGN
The JLT Series 2 tube is 3 1/2" ID, roto molded plastic to resist engine heat and keep the intake air charge nice and cool. NO METAL TUBING HERE!!
With no separate MAF housing or couplers air flow is fast and smooth.
MOLDED IN MAF
All Series 2 tubes have a 84mm MAF molded right in the tube.
GAINS
We have seen gains of 10-15 RWHP with the 93 octane tune.
TUNING
A JLT Series 2 tune is REQUIRED for this kit.
FINISH OPTIONS
Standard finish is an OEM looking black textured plastic and available in your cars exact body color.
All painted tubes receive a special treatment so paint adheres correctly to the plastic and go through an in-depth process to remove all the texture. We then use only the best quality materials to give each tube a smooth gloss finish.
Now also available in HydroCarbon
Through an awesome process called Hydrographics, the intake tube is made to look like carbon fiber. The tube is painted and then dipped in a water solution with a carbon fiber print film that adheres to the part when removed. Tube is then clear coated for a durable finish. To properly clean your oil filter, we recommend the S&B Precision II Cleaning & Oiling Kit.
*TIP* by purchasing a 2nd air filter you can simply swap filters when it's time to clean it and not be rushed. Clean the first filter and it's ready when it's time to change again.
